Top fella!!
Still got high quality maps for a few repeats here Index of /Wales rally gb (http://www.philhamfarm.f9.co.uk/Wales%20rally%20gb/).
But looking forward to some new stages.
Is the welsh rally mafia still active? pushing cars/people down steep slopes ect, ect, I've heard some right stories from back in the day (you 'aint from round these parts(in dodgy welsh accent)).

Didn't hear of many problems last year, but i know there was trouble in 2006 and previous years. But it seemed to be mainly confined to Trawscoed and Resolfen in the past (and no Trawscoed this year anyway.....).
Its been a long time since the Friday stages have been used - I remember Sweetlamb used to get rammed - hopefully parking won't be to bad there.
Yep, we will be there again, tickets ordered a while ago. Any tom tom destinations available this year yet?
phil2305 08 August 2008, 18:01 Did anyone manage to get a copy of the stage book from last year? I notice there is a copy of the 2006, 2007 would be nice, 2008 would be brilliant. Yes I know thats wishful thinking.

Jonnip74 28 October 2008, 15:05 Anything would be better than last years downpour! But it'd be even better if it's like the weather we've got ehre at the mo! I'm about 20mins from Epynt, and the snow is bunging it down!!
blagman 28 October 2008, 15:39 Now snow that would be fun, last time we had that proper on the Rally it was 1989  .
Booked the Land Rover Discovery today so bring it on :thumb:

Nick McRae 18 November 2008, 12:34 It may of been a long time but I'm back! Some of you may remember my "infamous" countdowns if you have been a regular on here for a while, with my countdown's usually starting a day after the previous event! It's time to make up for lost time and say:
Wales Rally GB 2008:
16 Days To Go!!!
Nick McRae 20 November 2008, 16:47 14 Days To Go!
Jonnip74 24 November 2008, 14:23 Well I hope everyone has got their thermals ready, it's bloody freezing here today, and only a few miles away from Epynt Ranges....
Anyone seen a long range forcast yet?

Not seen or heard anything official but my colleague (who's an avid weather forecast checker lol) said earlier that it's supposed to be "really bad next weekend" when we were talking about the impending possibility of snow. A snowy rally - that's hasn't happened for a good few years!! Let's just hope the rally traffic can cope with bad weather - it's bad enough for normal traffic when it snows round here
Jonnip74 24 November 2008, 14:37 Snow!!!! Bloody hell! That would be a result!:norty:
Certainly sort the men out from the boys! Last white rally I did was the Wye Dean 2007....
Fingers crossed!! (Going to be bloody cold sleeping in the car!!:lol1: )
Steve_PPP 24 November 2008, 19:07 (Going to be bloody cold sleeping in the car!!:lol1: )
I'll be fine in my nice warm B&B :D :p They always have the heating on so high i have the window open every year in December :lol1:
Jonnip74 24 November 2008, 19:23 But Steve, what about the atmosphere overnight in the stages, the firework displays....... the waking up with condensation on the inside of your sleeping bag, washing in freezing cold water from the back of the car, living off burgers and beans cooked with some fresh pine needles from those bloody trees... for 4 days..... being cold, wet, AND LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!:freak3:
But I wouldn't have it any other way!! a weekend of living like a caveman (and looking like one by Sunday night!:lol1: )
God I cant wait!!:lol1: :lol1: :thumb:
