Had some decking put down about 2 years ago, which is now dirty through weather.
Want to stain it now - so do I need to sand it down, or just give it a good clean (perhaps pressure washer) then stain it when its dry ?

Pressure washer is your friend. Be careful not to break the wood as the power jet can split it quite easily.

ive just done mine, I just used a hard bristle brush and gave it a good going over, then sprayed it with some b & q stuff

yes get the jet wash on it, and give it a good few coats especially where all the traffic is, we had some work done in the house and the concrete dust took it all off
