If I wanted to object to some proposed planning for one house directly at the back of my house. What would be the best grounds for objection???
And has anyone ever been successful in their objections??
Any help would be great, as I'm about to pull-out the small amount of hair I have left!!!
Thanks-Jim

Right to Light is usually good grounds, although that'll depend if the sun travels in that direction of course.
If you currently have a good view you can also try that, perhaps your neighbours on either side aren't happy either, if a few objections are received it'll carry more clout that a single "miserable old git"

As we have found out recently and is on the official council papers no one has a right to light, nice views dont count either :(
Unless its change very recently the light does come in to play when people are trying to put 2 storey rear extension through planning and it is join to your property. The guide lines are 45 degrees off window line in to neighbours cant be blocked so i would like to think some sort of objection when at bottom of garden??
