Deleting C:\
Out of interested what's the best and easiest way of deleting my C Drive. The reason I ask is that performance wise its not as good as it was and I do have a lot of crap I want to rid of.
Or is there no easy, and if I do delete my C Drive will I have too reinstall all the drivers for sound, network card......................... etc again?

Two ways.....
Format C:\
Or use FDisk to delete and recreate the partition.
FDisk is probably quicker, but I think you can do a Format C:\ /q which does a quick format.
Doing either of the above delete's ALL data on the disk including operating system, so you would need to re-install everything you wanted.
If you do do that, make sure you backup all your personal data, and double check that you have everything you need!
Edit : That's assuming your OS is on C:\. It could be on another drive (I think) but the boot info will still be on the drive. Depends really on how your drives/files are setup.

All the crap that is slowing you down will live in the OS directory anyway. Even if you delete the files, you will have loads of broken links in the registry which will need tidied up. If you are going to re-install OS, use format c:\ /q/u/s (/u will stop it from asking dopey questions, /s will copy the system files to memory, and copy them back when you are finished (assuming you have enough memory)
