We're planning a trip to WRC Germany in mid-August, and I am sure there is usually a reasonable contingent from SN, so just wondered who's going - best stages to watch? where to stay? etc etc...

Any info greatly received...

I go every year, and the only place to stay is Trier. The service park is there as is Park Ferme, Rally HQ and most of the team hotels. It is centrally located for the stages etc.

Make sure you get to one or more of the vinyard stages. They are spectacular. The first year, I went to the Panzerplatte stage where it is all laid on for spectators with food stalls, bogs and a demented German commentry. Never again.
