Someone told me that if you fit these they wont pass an MOT - only the 2 inch wide ones will - is that rubbish? (assumed if you kept the OEM seatbelts in place too, it would be fine - but he was sceptical...). Only reason I'm asking is 'cos he's from a well known tuner...

you have too keep the oem belt's. if the rear seat hass been removed you need to take the rear belts out too . well the guy that mot one of my cars made me b4 he woud pass it. not sure if it all to do with size .but the buckle

I have no actual seatbelts within my car, all of them have been removed. I just have 3" harness's in the front seats. Obviously my rear seats have nothing... because theyre not in there anymore :)

For MOT purposes you are supposed to be able to operate them with only one hand, as far as I remember....
