Made the mistake of tiling my bathroom with those tiny tiles that go on in sheets.......realised my mistake when I now come to grout the buggers.
Got a bit carried away with the grout and spread it all over the tiles and its now dried.
Is there anything I can use to remove the dried grout thats set like concrete ? I tried a scouring pad which takes it off but slowly and with lots of effort - anyone got any tips for taking the dried grout off the tiles quickly ?
rule 1, always wipe excess grout off asap!! fallen foul of that too many times :(
you can get some acid that eats it (it is basically concrete) from most iron mongers. careful it attacks (the fumes) chrome coatings etc so be careful of taps, towel rails etc.
other than that there is a coarse ish wheel that goes on a drill bit (flogged in b&q for about £8) that has it off a fair bit.
don't use iron wool as you will end up with rusty grout lines.

Use a stanley knife blade, hold it at about a 45 degree angle to the tile and rub away at it with the flat edge of the blade and that will remove it OK. This wont work on rough tiles though, only smooth ones !
Give the tiles a clean and polish afterwards and they should come up fine.

same principle as a window scraper in case you're unclear from mike's description.
i've used scrapers, wet cloth, damp glove (like a rigger or something, but knowing full well that it will only be fit for the bin when i've finished), old toothbrush etc in the past.

Thanks guys - yep I got a bit carried away and by the time I came round to clean the grout off the tiles it had set !
Never ever going to use those small tiles again - they look good but I have spent more time grouting them than I have putting in the sink, shower, floor and toilet!
soak it with hot water also, this seems to help especially if it is only a few days old

Use a steamer or wallpaper stripper - heat it up and wipe it off.

Wont that melt the grout in-between the tiles and make it run ?
