Morning,

In order to screw together my self assembly staircase I need to tap some threads. I have my taps and drills, but will I need to use grease/ oil / wd40 to stop the taps sticking - it is only 2mm thick ?

I thought it would be just like Mechano, but already appears to be a bit more complex !!!

Thanks

Del

A tiny bit of grease or like will assist for sure.

As will WD40, or any oil really.

The thinner the better, as it helps cooling as it evaporates off. Proper cutting fluid is water based stuff in suspension;)
