Hi guys

What does everone think is better - using a foam lance thingy or just using a bucket & sponge?

Does the foam lance remove all dirt or do u have to wash with sponge after??? I am just getting into this car cleaning now its summer:wonder: and am picking up tips daily from here.

dont use a sponge mate as this will collect a load of grit a dirt which you will inturn rub into your paint work causing scratches and swirl marks, instead use a lambswool or microfibre mit with the two bucket method ( one bucket with cleaning solution - the other with just water to rince your mit out getting rid of the dirt etc)
The idea of foaming is to break down the dirt on the vehicle then in turn more comes off when you jet wash or rince the foam off causing less chance of damaging your paintwork.

foam lance are great tho and i think they can really speed up the job agree with all the above advice
