View Full Version : Bristol v Hull - Who will join footballs elite?
Craigo86 24 May 2008, 07:57 Well guys the Premiership will have all its teams for the next season declared by the end of the day who do you think will be coming up?
Bristol have had a magnificent season staying up in the top 6 most of the season while Hull had a late surge into the top 6 and they kept up the momentum and now they're one game away from joining the Prem.
Although i think Bristol deserve it more it should be a good game as Hull have the more experienced players like Windass, Barmby, and Okocha to call upon, As well as young Fraizer Campbell scoring 15 goals for them this season - he will pose a threat to the Bristol Defence.
My Heart says Bristol but my head says Hull hmm............. Can't quite call this one what do you guys think? :thumb:
zs_phil 24 May 2008, 08:09 your thread title should read hull city vs bristol not bristol vs hull :lol1:
hull deffinatley deserve it more than bristol and should be a fantastic game and an easy win for hull we was wanting bristol instead of crystal palace

One of my mates (Lee Trundle) plays for Bristol so i hope they win, A few years ago he was playing football with me at Rhyl F.C then he moved to Wrexham, Swansea, Bristol - I cant believe hes almost a prem footballer! Good Luck Lee :luxhello:

An astonishing result but by God what a great one!!!!
I wonder if my original copies of Hull, Hell and Happiness are worth anything now? (for which I wrote a couple of articles)
16vmarc 24 May 2008, 20:10 Well done Hull :)
Another Northern team in the PL :p
Craigo86 24 May 2008, 21:41 Congrats Hull - You better hope Phil Brown gets 50mill of your promotion money to spend on players so you have a chance of staying up or you'll be looking at breaking Derbys record for the least points in a season, This is not me being critical just stating facts look at Sunderland they had a great championship side and spent about 50 mill and were safe - Hull have a good championship side and hopefully they will have money to spend or they're going straight back down - 50 mill in my opinion is the minimum amount to spend on players if you want to stay in the top flight :thumb:
richie001 26 May 2008, 09:52 good luck to em but can't see Hull having £50 million quid to spend
Difference between derby & hull being Phil Brown who went up with Bolton as Allerdyce's no2, so has been there already and has a model to follow. Hope they stay up.
Wonder if Ferguson will allow Campbell to stay on for another year on loan?
Think he might just to give him a years experience in the PL
I was there, what a great day.
Come on the tigers:luxhello:
Top 6 finish:wonder:
