I'm glad they made an example of him, about time too, 6 months for assault.

No doubt he'll be out in time for the new season knowing the justice system in this country.:nono:

Don't drop the soap Joey..........

I agree with you listening to the injuries him and his brother did to his victims on Sky.Joey Barton is no more just a thug and six months isn't long enough.

It's amazing how this verdict coincided with the end of the season. Like others say he'll be back out before we know it. What a lovely family the Bartons must be.

Still football has no morals these days, he'll be back earning a fortune and putting in his usual half a dozen good performances each season. Remember that WBA tw@t who killed someone in his car? Flippin Oldham chairman was negotiating a new contract with him before he was even out of teh nick! PS: what happened to him since? Anyone know?

That tw@t is Lee Hughes, the reason he was released was because he was offered the job by Oldham, Oldhams Chairman is an ex Police Chief and made it aware if he was released and Oldham employeed him he would serve the community in many ways helping those effected by drink and visiting schools doing everything he can to repay the public. Hes been kept out of the public eye since his release and serving the community very well actually. (Not justifying what he did previously, I cant so I wont, just informing you of the facts) He served his time and hes out getting on with it. There wasnt much of a good chance of him getting parole and going elsewhere, alot of it only made it possible because of the connections Oldham had.

p.s. Still a good footballer ;)

I really hope he does get the sack. Going on previous, he's nothing more than a viscious little thug.

ditto, probably the only chav i can think of with an ounce of footballing talent which has put him in the spotlight.

otherwise he would be just another inbred waste of space and benefits:razz:

Pure scumbag that many NUFC fans were disgusted at the signing of but we gave him a chance on the field and he didn't really show what he was capable of.
Get rid ASAP but I reckon Keegan will keep him and might entice a better performance out of his poor anger management skills:freak3:

I wish there were still a few of the real hard men in football, the likes of Ron"chopper"Harris or Souness or Keane would have chewed this wee ****e up long before now:mad:
With a bit of luck he will be sharing a cell with one of the BIG boys :norty:

He's being sentenced again this afternoon for his assault on Dabo, hopefully the judge will take his past assaults into consideration when sentencing and extend his stay at Her Maj's

Lets hope so - he is a downright nasty piece of work that could do with a dose of his own medicine i.e. a damn good kicking imo!!!! and i really hope some hard nut inside gives the overpaid bully a taste of what its like.

No surprise with the 4 months suspended, if they can't make an example with a record like his what hope is there, great example set by the judge, the justice system in this country is shot.
