I've bought a 1987 Porsche 928 S4  which I'm in the process of fettling up. Can anyone recommend any products / methods for restoring the leather seats ? Thanks.

Nice buy on the 928 - best looking Porsche in my eyes - Dad had a S4 GTS (manual version) when they first came out - lovely car Have a look on A world for detailers... (http://www.detailingworld.com/index.php) but it warned it can make you spend a load of money Richard MJW 15 May 2008, 14:59 Thanks, I was looking at the Gliptone products earlier presumably this is the best stuff for the job. Yes the 928 is still a sexy looking car, even today, I love it ! daves2rs 15 May 2008, 15:09 Thanks, I was looking at the Gliptone products earlier presumably this is the best stuff for the job. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post em up :) daves2rs 16 May 2008, 08:55 Gliptone is certainly a good product but shoe polish with correct procedure and technique can give awesome results :thumb: Polished Bliss 23 May 2008, 14:40 Raceglaze's Leather Cleaner and Leather Balm have blown me and Clark away in recent weeks; as good as Gliptone, but more nicely scented. :) |
