Blimey that screen is HUGE! :D

I thought it felt a bit lighter, but when I got it all fixed up with the new grip and compared it with the 20D+grip there wasn't a noticeable difference.

Actual use of it will have to wait till the weekend, but the menus are all seperated so easier to navigate, once I get used to it.

There are improvements all over the place so will be interesting finding them all out.

I was almost beginning to doubt Martins Camera Shop but they came up trumps:thumb: The camera arrived the day after I logically expected, having paid by cheque (3% off), and the grip (on back order) arrived 2 days later, only 20 minutes after I'd rang them to ask when it might be expected. I'd been out of the office so I couldn't have picked them up any earlier. Great price and decent service:thumb:

Well done CW :)

At first I thought you were spamming the forum with your post like the strange newbie that posted earlier :lol1:

Ive had a play around with my Bro's 40D, and it doesnt really feel any different to my 30D but only had a go for a short while

Are you selling the grip from your 20d, or is it going with the camera ? might be interested if you are selling it seperate

LOL I was gonna reply to that wierd post but it's been deleted, so I thought I'd do my own real one ;)

It's going with the camera, sorry, but the price I got for the new one was funded by my mate buying the old one as it was only £99 on top of the excellent price for the camera.

If you can afford that then contact Martin's Camera Shop (http://www.martinscamerashop.co.uk/canon-bg-e2n-battery-grip-eos-40d-286-p.asp) :thumb: or of course any supplier of your choice ;)

Be prepared for it to break, mine's gone in for repairs after it decided not to recognise CF cards anymore  other than that... :D
