hi iv sprayed my carbon fibre bonnet with 2k laquer and its not all that any tips on how best to help bring it up smooth and shiney

its just orange peel and iv tried to buff it out but all i have to hand is a drill disc and trying to buff it up with tcut etc theres plenty of lacquer on there just wondering how to best buff out the crap areas but cant afford like 100 pound for a pro buffing machine and had quotes of 200 pound to recoat it which i think is crimanal

A heavy cut compund via rotary could make some difference but Carbon Fibre you need to be careful.

Wetsanding followed up by polishing will restore to a nice flat finsh and remove any orange peel. Best leave to a pro ;) Where are you?

Gentle wetsanding with a fine grade, followed up with machine polishing to refine the finish is the way to go mate..

can these machines be hired as there too pricey just for a one off thanks for your advice guys
