Default Rear brake pad problem ?

Just had the rear wheels off to check the brake pads before mot and found the inner pad is wearing a lot more than the outer, and on the offside the inner pad has worn at an angle . The car is a 94 wrx with single pot sliding calipers. Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this and any remedies?

Thanks Nigel .

very common for the calipers to be sticky/seized a quick strip and clean up is all thats needed normally
also worth checking the pads are actually free to move in the carrier
