Default et45 or et48, what's the difference?

For 18" wheels to fit a WRX 05, what is the most suitable et? Car has standard brakes.

Thanks.

With regards to the brakes, no difference. The ET is the offset....

...it's more relevant to your arches and struts.

Put the width and offset of your original wheels and check how the offset affects the inner/outer clearance as corradoboy said.
