Default Pagid Blue squeel

hi am new to the forum, my problem is my sti 7 has Pagid Blue pads and the standard brembo brake calipers fitted and they squeel really badly ano its due to them being so hard as there race pads ,basically a want to take them off but whats the best pads to fit that wont squeel and wont suffer from major brake fade

Pagid blue are great when bedded in correctly. If they squeel, just file the edges of the pads and re-fit.

I use them on both Rex and RS6 and I have no squeel at all. But I do file the edges off before fitting........

Get some anti squeal shim. I believe Alyn at ASPerformance (0191 4103770) stocks the stuff. Usually the rear Brembos are the worst. I have AP 6 pots at front with PB and they don't squeal at all.

Not unusual for high friction pads to squeal and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with your brakes. Brake pad materials are all a compromise and the downside for a better performance pad is that they are generally noisier.
