I am thinking of getting a foam lance. I don't have a outside tap at mine but I tend to go round my Mums and use her water,electricity etc.:norty:

I was going to get the Gilmour II from PB but not sure if I'll get the full out of it (mainly due to poor water pressure round there).

Now I don't know If I'd need to invest in most car bath products. So would the Poorboys Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash be ok to use in the Karcher lance at all?

Otherwise what would you suggest I use or buy to work on the Karcher PW?

I've not used the Karcher foam lance but I'm sure I've read somewhere that it's not that good, certainly not in the realms of the C&S one you've seen.

I have a Karcher PW and got my foam lance, which looks identical to the C&S one, from Elitecarcare.com . Don't forget you'll need some super snow foam too to get the really thick foam :cool:

What snow foam do I need to use? I don't want one that takes off the wax etc? I though I'd get away with the poorboys suds in the lance but of course it won't give the same effect. I'm not much help am I.

That lance looks like an aftermarket one in Karcher fitment, rather than genuine Karcher, ie the one you need for proper foam. To get foam like that you need 'Snow Foam' from any of the retailers. If you want to, you can add a soap to it too, super suds as you mention. Super suds alone won't get you foam like in the vids. Awesome car in the vids btw ;)

You could just run super suds through your ordinary lance presuming your washer has a detergent tank, obviously this isn't gonna foam up either :)

You need Meguiars Hyper Wash in your life! It's gentle enough to not strip waxes yet cleans well; it has a crazy dilution ratio of 400:1, meaning it lasts for ages, making it great value for money; it also produces foam like this...
