Can i ask who quoted that price? I'm gonna do my car soon and i'd say the alk kit is a straight forward bolt off, bolt on item,I'm sure the geometry will be a basic camber and track adjustment on the front and thats it really.

I used to do 4 wheel castor/camber ect alignment at my old job and we only used to charge £60 for check and adjustment,i sometimes feel like going back as they still have the machine but no one there who can use it properly anymore. Its just sat there in a corner collecting dust.

i'd rather not name them to be honest mate because some of their work is good value and there a good garage, its just i've been on here long enough to almost choke when i saw that price for the alk.

The labour charge is ok not sure if its 1-2 hours fitting the ALK, depends on the time spent on the allignment. I would have thought there was room in the allignment labour if it went over the hour fitting the ALK. In terms of what I am used to paying the allignment is about £70 over the top and the ALK is £50 long on most suppliers within easy reach. (assuming whiteline)

£421.71 is mental ! I wouldn't pay more than c.£250 all in for this mod on its own:)

ALK is a 30 minute job.

While it's all off put the front ARB on as this will save you two lots of labour...

Or give Zak & Drew a call at Precious Metal in Pontefract on 01977 674785 and say Dunx sent you !

P.S. They don't do the geometry tho'.

Does seem steep :wonder: . I've bought all the parts but next week I'm getting a Perrin PSRS (their version of the ALK), Perrin Subframe Lockdown Kit, Prodrive springs fitted and geometry set up by a Scooby specialist for £180 inclusive of VAT.
