Hi does anyone know if it's alright to clay your car in the sunshine ? I was hoping to clean it this week but it looks like being fairly sunny for most of it and as i've not got a garage and i've got a black car i won't be able to wax it till dusk and the paintwork cools off, but i thought if i could clay it while i'm waiting, it'll give me something to do.

I used my clay bar on Sunday in direct sunlight. Just keep it lubed as you work it, then clean off any residue once you're done :D
Plenty of lube and you'll be fine. ;)

as above just ensure the surface isnt baking hot - you could always hose the area first then lube as normal ooo err :D

As above, keep the car wet after washing, rinse after each panel, use plenty of lube, and do a final rinse at the end then pat dry carefully. :)
