Default Removing glue from stickers

Hi all
I had a couple of stickers on the back of my car and have removed them however bits of the glue have remained on the paintwork and has hardened is there anyway of removing them or any product you can recommend to do the job??

Would white spirits be a good idea or would that be damaging to the paintwork?

AG Tar Remover will do the trick.

Tar & glue remover would be best; Autosmart Tardis is great but pricey, and Autoglym Tar & Glue Remover is also good but you don't get much of it. Both are better than polishing off the residues, which can induce marring or worse.
