u can dilute the meguiars degreaser with water, just spray on and wipe off, then you can polish it up and wax to keep it protected, personally id use AG super resin polish then Meguiars NXT wax, thats what i use on all my car including the door shuts and under the bonnet, but the diluted meguiars will work great on all dirt, including wheels arches

Spray on Meguiars Super Degreaser cut 4:1, allow to dwell for 1-2 mins, then power wash away - if you are careful and chase the shut around from one side to the other then you can do this without soaking the inside of the boot. Dry with microfibre work towels, then polish with Jeffs Werkstatt Prime Strong applied using the white side of a German pad, cut down into small pieces. This will remove the oxidation and rust spots and lay down a layer of sealant protection that will help to prevent further oxidation/corrosion from occuring. :thumb:

just found a bottle full of the autoglym engine degreaser in the cuboard could do with using up, as this is water based would this be safe to used as a alternative for around the boot insides & inside my doors? does it have to be hosed off as i dont fancy or trust myself doing this? still going to get to get the megs degreaser sounds a great product
