Hi am 25 and just paid for insurance on my '99 Classic. Is pretty much standard except for performance exhaust. I've got 2 years NCD and no points so I'm not going to get rock bottom insurance.
..but, for fully comp. I'm paying £930 with Admiral and that's literally the cheapest I could find anywhere. Is anyone else around my age paying similarly high insurance?

Try and grab a quote at: eCar Insurance - Get a low cost car insurance quote from eCar Insurance (http://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk/)
Been very cheap for me. I have two cars insured with them.

Well Cheap UK Car insurance and home insurance quotes comparison from Confused.com. (http://www.confused.com) for me eveytime.
I was 23 with 4 years no claims, no points etc. Mine was £1100.. which isnt bad when you look at the car being worth £8500 and my last car being an Astra Coupe 2.2.
Hope that helps, definately try confused, if only for some dummy quotes.
Mike
cheers, yea will try those sites next time. Insurance is extortionate for younger drivers!

Mine was £1200 when i first bought the car 2 years ago (I was 23), I had 2 years no claims and three points.
25 now.
99 UK Turbo, all i have on mine is an exhaust, bodykit and induction kit all declared along with my 3 points. A-Plan quoted me £749 protected and just over £500 un protected.
More than happy even with the protected price i took - I couldn't find many places if any that would quote that low and have it protected.

Neither of them would go near me now let alone 2 years ago.
