D16GER 30 April 2008, 17:22 Anyone got anything cheap for sale, or know anywhere I could find something?
Not wanting to spend a lot, just fancy the idea of DSLR and want to give it a shot without getting in too deep right now. Will spend more later if I really get into it.
Have seen some 350D's for around the £250 mark, but ideally don't quite want to spend that much, yet.

350D a fine camera, but you'll need lenses as well. 20D an option.
or Nikon D70 series.
D16GER 30 April 2008, 17:42 Yeah, I have seen a 350D with the 18-55 Kit lens for £250, and I could get a Sigma 70-300 for another £60 or so, but not sure what to do yet.
Don't want to spend a fortune only to find I either don't really use it, or more importantly, don't really like it.

It'll never happen, you'll get hooked after a few shots and thereafter you'll look back on the days when you thought the scooby was expensive to run as fond memories:D

Why not go to a shop and try a few cheapy DSLR cameras then buy the one you like on ebay :)

No it didn't mate, was waiting for him to come along :)
Managed to source a 350D, 18-55 kit lens and 70-300 Sigma macro lens. Should keep me busy for a while. :)
