I have a very poorly set of hks coilovers, i wish to remove the insides of the struts for either rebuild or replacement.
The question is how do i do this, how is the insert fitted?
The damper is click adjustable via a knob on the base and has a thick inverted style, is there a way of removing the insert? if that is what it is?

You need to do some research ? Is there even a distributor in this country to obtain spares fom ?
