Car has been remapped to run on UK fuel by way of EcuTEK and has been run on Shell Vpower, performance exhaust fitted costing 1k, uprated walbro fuel pump also fitted, car is producing 350bhp/360lbft torque. Lower road tax as calculated on engine size not emissions due to having SVA test when brought into country by Wicked Kit, Langtree Garage, Standish, been owned by non smokers 12 months MOT – 6 months tax. 28770miles on the clock

PAS, ABS
air-con
remote central locking
alarm and immobiliser
tracker fitted
twin airbags
DCCD (driver's control centre-differential)fitted which is not on UK spec
front and rear strut braces as standard
intercooler water spray
adjuststable HID head lights,
twin scroll turbo
BBS Magnesium Alloys

9/10 times its just as cheap to insure a JDM newage import as it is a standard UK STi, plus they are alot better than the UK cars ;)

I insured my JDM with Keith Michaels (ask for Moley) very very reasonable:notworthy

As others have said JDM is the only way to go..... much better:thumb:

I have JDM 03 Plate just like above with a few more mods and insurance with A-plan is approx £500 IIRC. Can't see a UK being any cheaper.

Also, just taxed my car again online, only £185 :D not even gone up on last year! Oh thank god I have a JDM and not a UK!
