View Full Version : PPP and insurance?

I've just looked at a quote for insurance on my MY00 and directline's lovely online quote has dropped it from £2400 to £1700. I know £2400 sucks, but I was 22 and had no previous insurance policies in my name ;)

My real question is how much (if any) have people's insurance quotes gone up after having PPP fitted?

I'm right in thinking PPP costs about £1500 aren't I?

Cheers
Andrew

Check the insurance out before you get the PPP!!! - i really doubt many places will insure you (under 25 with a modded car) without quoting something ridiculous.

Good luck!

Try Greenlight - they were the best by far for my PPP!

Direct line should insure you with a PPP, they cover upto 20% increase in power, the typical increase is approx 10% to your insurance but because your under 25 you may find that it could be higher :(
Also dont take those quotes as gospel as they can change from day to day.

Forgot to say that the cost can be around 2k for the PPP but if you shop around you can get it for cheaper (1600ish from some dealers)
