So the date looks like its set for the new WRC to make its debut on the Acroplolis, so where will it finish on debut. I will go for best position in 5th.

I thought the title of the thread may have given it away mate, where will it finish on debut, this rally is its WRC debut.

ah my bad, not paying attention :D

i would hazard a guess at 5th place, for some reason i cant see it making that much difference. although i hope to be proved wrong (and probably will lol)

I think the title should say:

What place will the new Impreza WRC car finish on its debut run?

I've gone for 6th, but the Acropolis is a tough event, hoping they will do better though

Will probably be punctures galore with no mouse, Ford to win.

IMHO Solberg was confidence was losing confidence with the "old" car unlike Chris who was gaining confidence ;)

I believe you'll see a "new" Petter come out of the Block in Greece

If both Cars survive ;) Petter 1st and Chris 3rd

I expect the French manufactures will complain to the FIA that it's not fair.

I take it the rally starts first thing in the morning, the WRC website isn`t the best one for layout and straight forward info.

No change after SS4, Petter Solberg is still in 5th and Chris Atkinson in 8th. Loeb has taken over at the top from Latvala with Hirvonen in 4th.

I did have a cheeky check of the times earlier.

Seems PS is getting on better with the rally/car than CA.

Would love to see the car win on its first outing! But realistically, I'd put Petter in 3rd and Chris in 6th!

Petter has been consistently quicker than Chris this season, but has been dogged by bad luck! Chris slower pace has rewarded him with reliability!

Hopefully the new car will be more reliable for Petter and he can start winning again soon! I guess it will take a couple of rallies to get their heads around the car set-up and start being competitive!

Even then, do you really think they can topple Ford/Citreon?

Would be next year at earliest i reckon.

I think when Citroen introduced their first car they needed a season to get things right then the rest is history, i wouldn`t expect any early wins from the new car as a lot of settings and other things will need to be adjusted, i would say that Subaru will view the first few rallies as competetive testing mainly for reliability and pace with it being a new car.

Maybe towards the back end of the season we can hope for some top results.

Both Subaru`s are safely through day 1, they just have the super special left later on. Petter is in 5th and Chris Atkinson is in 8th. SWRT will be happy with that on day 1, both cars safely through the day in respectable positions.

Drama on the last super special stage where both Fords dropped over a minute each which has promoted Petter to 3rd overnight, Latvala was just 12seconds behind Leob on the previous stage but both Fords have suspension problems and they limped through the super special. Good news that though for Petter who has been quick for most of the day.

i think it was planned cos they dont want to up front on the start of day two think your find both fords fly tomorrow but petter to be in top three.

Planned lol, your having a laugh. If anything was planned then both Fords wouldn`t be 1m 18 seconds and 1m 36 seconds behind the rally leader Sebastien Loeb. Both Fords limped through the super special with bad suspension damage. To have any chance tomorow they needed to be within 30 seconds of Loeb who will be sweeping the roads so nothing was planned.

sometimes dropping some time to gain road position on the next day is worth it, but the fords wouldn't drop over a minute just to run 3 cars lower down the field, no way.

i voted 3rd in the poll, so woo for Petter :thumb:

Don't they still reverse the top 15 for day 2?
