Clutch on 1.4 Focus (2005)
Hello
I have the (mis)fortune of having to drive my wifes Focus 1.4 LX for a while after the LCR has gone back to the leasing company. Its a late 2005 model and has 20k on the clock. The biting point for the clutch is very very high, almost like its about to expire, which is hard to believe on a car with such little oomph. I dont think my wife drove it for a year with her foot on the clutch, but you never know
Is there any adjustment that could be made on the clutch, or is it just a simple straight swap required ? Dont know about these sort of things !!
Thanks
Dave

To add some more info, when you engage 1st or second you get a clonking from under the pedals as it engages. It has done this for some time, which leads me to suspect that theres a clutch problem.
