I'm getting a 'page cannot be displayed' on submitting any search request.

It's triggering the 30sec wait time though :Suspiciou

Is this fixed now?

We made a massive upgrade to the seach facility recently, and experienced a few teething problems.

I actually had to search google to come to this thread and pleased to know its not just me this has been happening to :brickwall

It worked once today and for the rest just comes up page cannot be displayed and has been like this for some time now.

I actually paid for my membership so that I can use the better search facility as I use it alot and at this point in time am very disapointed

Could we get this sorted please!!

Thank you.

fair comments guys.

We're between the devil and the deep blue sea here. On one hand, the old search was very reliable, but dragged the site to a crawling halt whenever anyone submitted a reasonably big search.

On the other, the new search is lightning fast when its working, and the site hasn't been as stable and fast in years, but its just not very reliable.

We can't go back, so I'll talk to the Internet Brands guys about putting some time in to get it sorted.

Cheers

Simon

A further 'Search' issue.

I'm finding that my 'searhes' return threads that are February and Before.

they never seem to be 'current' i.e. today/yesterday/this week/ this month...

I've checked my advance settings..... but they are all set to 'any'....

I was looking for 'japfest pics' and it could ONLY find threads from early in the year (arranging trips) and last year...

seriously

cheers

Whenever I search for numbers in the advanced search, i just get a blank page (I tried the same query loads of times, and it does it consistently), and if I have more than two words it seems to give the same blank page too.
