Hi there, I'm looking to get a scooby as a 2nd car for weekends and shows whilst at the same time using my normal car (a vectra) monday to friday. Does anyone else do the same and if so can you recommend a good insurer to use? I've spoken to my current insurer who is privilege and they said that if I want to insure a 2nd car I can only use my no claims on 1 of them so it makes sense to use them if I get a scoob. The only downside is the price for insuring my vectra doubles due to me having no ncb. I've got 8 years NCB and a totally clean licence and i'm 27, although i'll be 28 come the time to get it in about 7 weeks time. I don't fancy paying the best part of £900 a year to insure 2 cars - help!
