My local H dealer has sold 11 and most of them hadn't even sat on it before buying !! Had a good look at one it last week and not impressed, sure it may well go fast and do all the things it is supposed to do but for me on the road no thanks. I think the rear numberplate area is just awful.

Going to have a ride on one though just to check it out.

The factory team only have the pneumatic motor at Jerez.

The Tech 3 team are still on the spring one, hoping for new unit by Qatar.

I think the worst thing they ever did was reduce motogp to 800cc, far less skill in the riding, I know they are just as fast.. but Rossi said yo ucan just throw full power at it halfway through a corner and make it round the corner... no longer feeding the throttle and controlling the hp...

I hope this season the ducati's arnt once again as fast.. and that honda or yam maybe suzuki can performe well...

You have to rate stoner but surely anyone on that ducati would be fast... what was the top kph testing difference 10kph 20kph? more? Will be interesting to watch Melandri on it...

I loved last years race's when it was a race but watching a ducati pull away got a little F1 and thats really dire...

Thats far more a traction control thing than an 800cc thing.

What the traction control does is basically give the lesser riders more of a chance, closes the whole thing up a bit. And as that nakes for the best racing so it's fine by me - even if with my purist's head on i don't really like it. In the end the best riders will always come out on top though.

Those of us who remember the last years of the 500 cc strokers - very difficult bikes to ride compared to the four strokes, light switch delivery and no electronic aids - look back with rosy eyes, but in reality the racing was poor. Doohan and then Rossi made the actual racing a bit boring.

Not so, Stoner was lucky he climbed on and went fast, the bike works for him, Capirossi and now Melandri, struggled/will struggle on it, test times seem to indicate it.

My opinion of course.
