After reading some "how to..." posts on here (cheers guys) i decided to do a sound upgrade on the OEM speakers in my MY53 WRX.
Already done the single DIN swap over from the original double DIN with a Kenwood head unit a few months ago.
Now swapped the original bin lids for 5 1/4 Pioneers, nothing too flash, but what a difference.
Used plyboard to attach speakers to bodywork and it was quite easy. I debated using MDF but B&Q did some thick plyboard which still gave me that ease of cutting and filing.
And best thing of all....i did it in work time...good old HM Forces!!!:norty:
