Now and again you hear something heavy hit the car but usually its something thrown up underneath.............well not this time!!!!!!!!
I say stone chip but it must have been the size of a golf ball with the dent and the two deep scratches it has left in the middle of the bonnet down to the metal!! Im gutted to say the least, i take pride in owning mint cars and now she just doesnt look anywhere near as good as she should:(
I have a number for a guy i have used to repair my alloys in the past but im not sure if he does bodywork so if you can recommend anyone good i would be greatful:notworthy
Please help, i could almost cry:( :( :(

Spoke to a guy today who repairs dents and chips and if it is as iv described it sounds like a full bonnet re-spray to ensure that it cannot be noticed afterwards!!:(:(:(
This is turning out to be expensive!!!!

Iv been to a local bodyshop i have used a few times before and he has confirmed that it will need a full bonnet re-spray but he has put my mind at ease a little about the finish. Thats £170 out of my de-cat and re-map budget but he is very good. Booked in for 21st March:(
Lee, you probably have your own guy that you use but if you need the number let me know, he is top at his job, hense the 6-8 week waiting list;)

I know the feeling, my wrx less than 24hrs out of the showroom traveling down the M4 6am in light traffic heard a sound like someone had droped a brick on my roof, when i got to work i could hardly bring myself to look, when i did i found the smallest dent and chip hardly noticable towards the front of the roof, but still gutted, hav'nt done anything about it cos it blends in nicely with all the other chips iv'e picked up since.
