Ok Guys,

Managed to secure a great deal on some Stoptech kits if we get 5 or more people.

Most of you have probably heard or already know about the Stoptech kits, however for those that don't there is some details below. All the prices are for the front kits, rear kits are available, however not really necessary.

http://www.jikan.co.uk/Jikan/menu_files/spacer1x5.gif (http://www.jikan.co.uk/Jikan/menu_files/spacer1x5.gif)
In the kit we have everything included, as shown in the pic below.

We have a choice of colour for the caliper from: Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Silver.

However anything other than Red or Black calipers normally is special order and takes a while to get through.

If you have a Classic with 17's the 328x328 kit is best suited.

To confirm your wheel template size check here: StopTech : Balanced Brake Upgrades (http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wheel_fitment.shtml)

StopTech Big Brake Kits give your vehicle that Supercar look and feel, and exceed stock performance in two areas.First, larger rotors increase heat capacity. Second, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance.

The key, however, is to increase heat capacity and reduce compliance without upsetting the stock front to rear brake torque ratio.
If the brake upgrade you select adds too much front torque (as many do), you reduce your car's ability to utilize the tractive capacity of all of the tires to the maximum practical extent (even on ABS equipped cars) and you therefore create performance sacrifices.
In addition, too many pistons or pistons that are too large will make the brake pedal much more difficult to modulate, which limits a driver's control of brake input on the race track.

Advantages of StopTech over other brake upgrades:

General notice:

This group buy is nothing to do with Zen performance. Please do not phone us with any queries relating to this group buy, technical or otherwise. I have already taken one such call for technical advise, asking for pricing and so on, only to find they were really only interested in this group buy.

We have these in stock though.

Thankyou

As above,

The GB is going through EVO-S. Evolution Sport BMW (http://www.evo-s.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=6)

You can contact them on 0871 231 1001.

It's not fair on Zen to ask them any info only to buy from elsewhere, just contact the boys at Evo if you need any info on this GB, or just post up and i'm sure someone will help out. :thumb:

I'm in need of rotors/discs both front and back. Any chance of that coming in on this GB?

The GB was only really for the kits, however you can confirm with Evo-s if they will give a discounted price within the GB for the discs alone...

I will try and find out as well...
