I just commented that a post of suzy's was rude.

the OP posted a link to his venice carnival images on pbase.
suz then posted a link to her galleries and some sample images and a link to my gallery and then the last line of the nearly screen sized post was "your pics are great, I think I saw you there"

I said she was hijacking the thread and should have paid respects to his images first before posting images and links to her own.

Was mine a reasonable comment? She's really ar$ed off with me now.

Who is Suzy? You'll need to post some links for us to get a grasp of this, provided Suz is okay with that of course :lol1:

On the other hand, this is the internet and etiquette is not a word that is commonly recognised or respected. Take it as a compliment mate ;)

Richard.

I'd use the word etiquette more if I knew what it meant. Is it some sort of posh sandwich ?

Seriously, I haven't seen the thread - I'll take a look in a mo - and don't want to criticize, but personally speaking I would have thought it was courtesy to comment about the original pics and then mention the links to your own.

Having said that, I would get stroppy or lose any sleep if they didn't.

Wimmin eh? Nowt but trubble.

I refuse to comment further until we have pics of suzy in totally inappropriate poses.

I thought etiquette was some sort of posh parking fine? :)

Courtesy would have been to comment on the original poster's images first :)
