My mate has the same prob, hes 22, with a classic uk2000 and is paying £1400 with 3 points. 3 yrs ncd, does about 9k.

just renewed my policy with a-plan again for another year, same price. only doing 6k a year, only use the car at the weekend.

did u know that on average £30 of all insurance policy goes to paying for fraud claims, or even a large chunk goes to paying people that are hit by non-insured drivers or even when ur car is stolen..... so unfair

Don't forget to actually ask them to lower the price, after you've shopped around. I usually shop around, then go back to my renewal, tell them I've got a price of £xxx (always less than the actual lowest quote) and then say I'd rather stay if they can provide a better quote, I've spent thousands so far, my family are with the same company now, etc. It usually works, and if it doesn't say thanks, and ring back a bit later and speak to another operator. (Also works with mobile phone companies).

26 now but 23 when i bought mine and used Tesco. Was £1200ish fully comp (in london)

23yr old four years no claims had my v1 sti nearly three years now first year i paid £3500 tft (got riped off and couldnt get out of the contract)!! now i pay £1100 fully comp car is running about 330bhp every thing delcaired also have tracker and anti hijack and top of the range cilford garged and only used for please no commuting that with warwick davies top people !!
