Didn't realise until overcommited on a roundabout with a terrible camber that my rear nearside tyre was deflated(deflating?) due to a large nail, and took a line through the corner that even tho I was by then doing >10mph still felt like a bit of a whack when I slid sideways into the kurb.
Right now, the car's been reshod all round, but I bet that won't be the end of the £££
Apart from a new chip in one, the alloys are OK.
And are there any DIY checks to get an idea of how bad things could be with geometry, etc?
In the short drive back from the tyre shop, the car goes fwd with out drifting 1 way or the other. And stay pointing the same way under braking. Anything else?
For 100% confidence, who and where is a good place to get my trust in the car's geometry back? Pref. in Berkshire or North Hampshire.
