AI Autosport just outside Antrim are highly regarded, as is Michael White at OMA in Mallusk. For main dealer stuff, Eastwoods in Lisburn are good to deal with for a main dealer. Coleraine are has to be Johnny at Performance Subaru (McKeary Motors)........hope that covers most places...

Oh and for aftermarker stuff and great technical advice, Paul Murray (Scubbay) in Magherafelt always gives good honest opinions and can lay his hands on ANYTHING Subaru !!!!!

well my advice would be Johnny at Performance Subaru (McKeary Motors) coleraine as donnellys dont know their left foot from their right, eastwoods recently took a car out on a test drive at 103 mph which was proved as the customer had reset his secs monitor. For me personally Performance Subaru (McKeary Motors) gets my thumbs up every time not only for knowledge of scoobies but for a professional good honest job which money cannot buy. So for me to drive to coleraine when the other two dealerships are both within 15 mins drive from my house says it all. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

My advice would be DONT use a main dealer! Goto the likes of AI, Performance Subaru or OMA, Better products used and cheaper than main dealers also far better service.

Welcome along also m8, I am from Newtownabbey so maybe c u around.

Is it not 2 seperate business's in the same place?

Anyway, I would still say better than the other main dealers that we know!

Hi there HHH1234, if u listen to the comments posted above u wont go far wrong, theyre all a top bunch of folk!!

Ive just got me car back from OMA there with a load of goodies fitted such as halteck ecu, front mount, headers, boost controller etc etc and i couldnt be more pleased!!:D :D :D :D

Sure why dont u cum to the rolling road day (i will probably only be watching as my car still has to get a bigger turbo and injectors before i get a dyno run) and u can see our cars and have a chat with the rest of them. You can be sure of a great days crack at any of the meets wherever they are, the mc rae memorial run was nothing short of brilliant!!:thumb:

Here a couple of pics of my rb5 with my mates sti beside it:

Hoping for around 340bhp when all finished, dont wana push it much more than that, although it had a rebuild last year at 53,000 miles with new crank etc etc.

Have yet to fit a TD0518G turbo and 740cc injectors and a remap, stil running the td04 turbo at the min and its only good for 280 - 290bhp max!!

Take a look at this link below and scroll down to my post and u will see what ive done so far and what im planning for the 'not to distant future' lol:luxhello:

alright lad, welcome to the site!!

mines the one with blue detailing, although at the minute it has no rb5 detailing at all bar fog covers, that arent even on the car :(

getting some red ones ordered up as after spending 6 months convincing myself blue was the better colour, i have realised that infact red is the future.

i`d have sold you mine a few months ago, saved you a trip to england... but shes growing on me now, and this bunch of hooligans help raise your spirits no end if your down about your motor.

be sure to wave if you happen to see the rb5 on the road... in the rare occasions that it is!! and if you see some twat in a white merc estate waving.. thats be me

btw.. what no is she?

Can you expand on this please? Do you know who did this? Was it the mechanic or someone else?

I use Eastwood motors and have always found them very good and my car is up for a service in February.

Cheers, I hope its a one off. I have used Eastwoods for the last 5 - 6 years and had no problems at all. On one ocasion they refused to accept payment for diagnostic work. I also bought my current car from them and Des was ok to deal with and gave the weans some money.

Yep mate, the rolling road is this saturday the 9th at AI Autosport in randalstown near antrim. Check out here for details:

http://bbs.scoobynet.com/ireland-northern-ireland-27/652611-subaru-ai-autosport-rolling-road-day-9th-feb.html

As for a turbo timer i havent got one but OllieRB5 is an ice/security/gadget fitter by trade and hes the man to ask about this sort of stuff....he knows his way around a car alarm and all that trickery, i'm hoping to get him to sort me out with speakers for my car come the spring time!!:thumb:
