Draw due today so sure to be a bit of banter.

I went the United game yest.

United were pretty poor yesterday. It was an entertaining game but lacked quality. United did what any team playing Spurs should do and target Dawson. He's terrible and United clearly did that yesterday aiming any long ball straight at him. Tevez scored again but I'm still not convinced by his all round play. His passing is not sure enough. Happy United progressed though as was a tough tie again.

As a side the pitch at United is cutting up something terribly again and they need to get it sorted as it's not ideal for the football United want to play.

Anybody see the Keegan interview after the Arsenal game? He looked like he's already losing it. He's not cut out to be a manager. I'd give him until the end of the season before he walks and Shearer comes in.

Nice to see city go out.

Lol thought the same about Keegan, looked like he's had enough already, but you can't come out and say you're the best person for the job and no one knows NUFC like I do and then walk away a couple of months later, he will have to stay otherwise his "messiah" tag will be thrown in the bin.

Agreed Utd weren't at their best but still good enough, Tevez will run and scrap all day long and he had a good enough game, great strength and close control, the trouble is he is playing with a lot of players who have that level of ability so it doesn't shine through so brightly when it's all around, good to see Anderson out on the pitch again, my favourite player this season, I keep forgetting he's only a baby, I thought Carrick had a great game, but it was a bit early in the game to bring the Ginger Magician on, although his 1st ball was majestic there were a few which weren't, no doubt he'll be back up to pace soon and looks a cert to start against Portsmouth on Weds.

Fifth round fixtures:

Bristol Rovers v Southampton

Cardiff City v Wolves

Sheffield United v Middlesbrough

Liverpool v Barnsley

Manchester United v Arsenal

Preston v Portsmouth

Coventry City v West Brom

Chelsea v Huddersfield Town

The ties are scheduled to take place on 16 and 17 February.

That'll do nicely :)

FFS looks as though if United are going to win it they'll have to do it the hard way. Bristol Rovers would have been nice

The crowd were on their feet a minute applauding Scholes before he even came on. As you say in one pass he showed what he brings to United. Could prove vital in the closing months of the season. Maybe his injury could mean he's fresh right to the end now.

Carrick has been doing a great job the past 2 or 3 months. Just gets on with it and keeps the front guys ticking over.

Wise to NUFC now.... what a laughing stock they are! :lol1:

Of course his vast managerial experience at the top level and knowledge of the European game makes him an ideal candidate for the role :cuckoo: You guys are just pulling my leg aint ya! :D:lol1:

Which if you consider the whole big Keegan homecoming cr@p etc makes it even more laughable. Be interested to hear what the NU fans on here have to say. I wouldn't want Wise anywhere near my club.

Leeds success this year was down to Poyet, no coincidence that performances have tailed somewhat since Wise has been in sole charge. I dont think he will add any real value to Newcastle.

Wise will be Director of fighting, they have that cnut Barton and you can see why they wanted Woodgate back :lol1: Wise' tongue was so far up KK arse two weeks ago all you could see were his shoes haning out of the messiahs back side.

I don't want Newcastle to go down and if it wasn't for Derby being so woeful I reckon they could have dropped.

If KK's "team talk" was true then who knows they could well go down, maybe Shearer is more astute than I first imagined, time will tell.

Looks like a bye for Utd into the quarters :thumb:

Will be worth putting a tenner on Barnsley to score first, especially at set pieces etc !:thumb:
