Ive noticed a lot of posts in the non scooby section are about televisions, home cinema, sky television and other audio and visual stuff.

Personally i think it would be good to have an audio and visual section down near the computer section, it would be a doddle then to get the right advice as quite a few on here seem to be clued up about that sort of thing.

Anyone think its a good idea ? A yes or no would be good enough.

Thats just like saying why do we have a computer section on here when people can go to the Computer Forum

 

In that case we should have a cooking forum then. And a gardening one. Maybe even a needlecrafts one !

Well, we have a DIY, Sports, photography etc. so why not, if the demand is there.

How many more LCD/Plasma threads do we want cluttering NSR?

What would be more valuable is, if an AV forum is created, is to backtrack and move all the old tv/stereo type posts into this forum as most the questions have already been asked

I think any AV queries stand a better chance of getting a response in NSR than in their own specialised forum.

 

Yes. I also think we need a Mobile Phone forum, a House Price forum, and a Pets (Dangerous or Cute) forum.

OK, lets be economic. I have a neighbour with a problem pet, how do I cook it and what film should I watch afterwards? And will this affect the value of my house?

 

Audion and visual might be a good idea - but it needs to be at the expense of a few other forums such as -

Fight Club, Drivetrain to name a couple. I think one or two forums could be joined together too, such as interior and styling
Scoobynet has far too many forums and as there are some forums which don't get many views, people start posting in General so their thread gets some exposure

On topic, I voted yes. Gets the TV threads out of NSR for a start.

I would say rather than cycling, have a "recreation" section.
