Literally 1 night. I own a Toyota Corrola which I'm supposed to be using to commute with (to save money on petrol and wear and tear on the scoob generally). Only problem is I just have to drive my bloody scooby every day.. I can't get enough of it.

I'm only on Day 4 - car booked in for new clutch, lightened flywheel, cambelt and kit, new discs and pad - still awaiting most of the stuff to arrive and I can't drive anyway as the clutch has pretty much given up the ghost!
I am doing my daily 120 mile commute in the Mrs's 1.8 Freelander for the next 2 weeks.

Know the feeling mate, my car has been in and out of a couple of bodyshops getting repaired (finally).
In between those moments I have had a few blips in the motor and thoroughly enjoyed it so yes missing the car like mad but I know the wait will be worth it (should be back on the road in pristine condition middle of Feb).

I sold my scoob last October, and i miss it dearly
I feel sad every time i hear a scoob burbling past, the memory's just come flooding back
Going through a tunnel now is just so plain and unexciting

Will have another in the next few years tho

when i was in hospital for a month, then drove an automatic for a month, cos my leg was all wrapped up, even tho my car was on my drive, i missed driving it sooo much.
the feeling of getting back in the car after 2 months was simply awesome, felt like a new car, tight bucket seats, tight handling etc etc, funny how quickly you get used to the car once your back.
i guess driving a weiner car now and then makes u appreciate ur car more
