Khan’s too cocky IMHO

Making a career out of fighting “Easy Wins”

Will be interesting to see if he can beat St Clair, who is a bloody good fighter

“Hamed Wannabe” – DEFINITELY!

Don’t get me wrong, he has the skills & determination, but people will never be behind him because of his attitude & renowned “Knockout” style of winning within the first few rounds - nothing to keep people interested in his fights, or pay money to watch them if he ever goes PPV

It’ll be interesting to see how he copes if he ever moves up weight

Should be. Its a Frank Warren promotion, so either ITV or Sky I would have thought. I might go and see it.

Great fight and very professional display by Khan. The boy has talent and this fight has certainly shut a few people up.

Hmmmm. Now I understand what this Anti-Khan feelings are about. Him being cocky? Let me think, how many under 21s aren't cocky, eh?:) I don't watch these fights religiously or something, nor am I some great fan of boxing. But I remember hearing one of Amir's post-match interviews that he tends to entertain, not just fight. He tends to weigh his opponent and starts spreading a bit e.g. dropping his gloves, giving short smiles etc. But I have never seen him acting arrogant like some lord of the blimming ring! I don't perticularly admire his cocky attitude anymore, as it has become typed. Yet i genuinely admire his talent for being such a good fighter at a very young age. One of these days, his "entertaining" will cost him in a form of losing a match. Then hopefully, he will drop dropping his gloves :lol1: Still, he is far from deserving a "w@nker" award IMO.

IMHO –

Khan fought well, BUT it was a real test for him.

Yes, he won unanimous on points (108 – 120 by all 3 judges) and yes some MIGHT say he out boxed St Clair, but this was his first real test & the first time he had gone past 10 rounds.

St Clair did land him with a few good shots

Most of his shots weren’t even scoring shots, hitting St Clair’s arms etc, so if anything that shows his inexperience against a veteran

Minter & Jennings fight was a poor effort too!

He is inexperienced in comparison to a veteran.:lol1:
