GUNMETAL GREY OR GOLD ???

ok this is a very quick post. im doing a silly quesionairre online as me and my mates have a slight disagreement..

i have a MY97 sonic blue type - r with gold wheels. i think they suit the car well they are (5 spoke rs-gt aarospeed)

my mates recon that the car would look a million times better if i refurbed the rims in gunmetal grey !!!

ok my question to everybody is...

GOLD or GUNMETAL GREY ????

Another vote for gunmetal. My previous Scoob was a WR blue newage STi and it looked considerably nicer (and meaner) after I had the gold wheels reconditioned gunmetal. I still think gold looks OK on blue and black Scoobs, but awful on white (my current colour) and grey.

my opinion, is that gold wheels are "in your face scooby", whilst gun metal are a bit more discreet (obviously this doesnt matter so much on a highly modified car!!!!) .

I have a MY04 WRX, red, with gun metal grey wheels, and I fell in love with it, if it had gold wheels, would never have bought it in the first place...

I quite like having silver. Too bright when clean, which is rare, but with brake dust, crap & dirt, they lOOk anthracite colour.

Best of both worlds....

Back OT: Gunmetal.

I couldn't wait to get rid of the gold alloys!!

gold is old hat now,looked good on the blue scoobs when they first appeared,i changed mine to silver but out of the two choices gunmetal looks more understated and better........ dont start me on stickererd up rally wannabes though...
