Might be best to do it afterwards so you don't get wax all over your hands/cloths!

 

To properly Waxoil (sp) a car it should be cleaned with steam or pressure wash first, then waxed I would do the mods afterwards.
Also, you dont wax the entire underside and suspension?

 

when modding or waxing a new car i fit the bits first after cleaning the underside -chems or steam cleaning after its dry with help from blowers ie heat gun then wax the full car inc all suspension parts /d/shafts /struts /fuel lines brake pipes hubs /backplates everything to stop corrosion .my new 07 sti has 5 coats of mercedes benz wax on it and my 07 fiesta st has the same .i have waxed all my cars for 25 years not undersealed them .just about to do my latest track car after roll cage is fitted geo
