As it says.
What is the basic effect on handling of going stiffer or softer on the rear ARB?
Cheers.

Stiffer, will make the car stiffer in general, bit more back end happy if stiffer, softer slackens it up, depends on your driving style.........

So that if I stiffen it, on the balance, the car should be more inclined to oversteer?

Best bet if you like to play with things is to get an adjustable bar ( Whiteline has three positions ) soft is a bit stiffer than standard, not to jiggly over ridges in the road.
Middle is good for road use, and if you "throw" the car around a bit...
Stiffest is ace on a track, or if you are a really smooth driver on the road too.

The bar reduces roll at the back of the car, and also the front, this allows the front more grip, whilst increasing the tendancy to oversteer.
Stiffer allows more oversteer !

You will be pleased with the effect of that lot.

Your chassis must be close to mine now?

I find the stiffest setting best for the road, in combination with my Prodrive springs. Like the handling like that - just a teeny bit oversteery, but very sharp overall.

Doesn't take long to change it back if you don't like it. :D

Oi ! 911 did you mean me ?

The chassis may be close, but the driver is miles off !

LOL

Just wondering if a Whiteline rear link kit (x4) is best done before any power crazed exploits....

the whiteline x4 rear bars are worthwhile mod you also fit the toe-lock kit at the same time to stop any movement after setting .the toe is set by the adjustments on the bars. the bushes are poly and larger than the normal subaru type:thumb:

Cheers kiddo ! Do you know where I could source the Cusco adjustable trailing arms ? Due to certain operator induced suspension problems at the rear....
