Basically I`ve been using Swissol/Swissvax on my Crystal Grey STI for the last 2 years and although I`m happy with the results the Jeffs kit has caught my eye. Has anyone used Swissol/Swissvax then changed to Jeffs products? Any info would be appreciated.

Swissvax products I`ve used -

Car Bath
Cleaner Fluid
Samurai Wax
Autobahn Wheel Wax (excellent product)

Jeffs products that I propose to use -

Shampoo
Acrylic Kit (Prime, Jett & Gloss)
Prime Strong

Never used the stuff you're using at the moment, but just bought an Acrylic Kit from Polished Bliss and gave the Spec-G its first coat..... and I'm extremely impressed, cant wait to build it up as its meant to become even deeper with more layers. :)

Cheers,
Grant

I used the Jeffs Acrylic Kit from PB only once so far, but I have been more than impressed with ease of application and results after. So if the results get batter (deeper shine) with more applications, I will be over the moon.

Cheers for the replies guys. Are you all using the Jeffs by hand?

Yes, I am.

With regards to the JEFFS products...

Start out by applying a basecoat of Prime Acrylic using the white side of the Lake Country German Applicator Pad; spritz the pad first with a light shot of Acrylic Glos, then apply and leave to cure for anything from 2 mins to 30 mins (my preference is to leave it for 5 mins then buff). Buff off this residue once dry with the blue Poorboys Super Thick & Plush Towel, using a spritz of Acrylic Glos to help loosen the residue if needs be. Then apply a coat of Acrylic Jett Trigger by spraying onto one of the coral Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towels, wiping over the panel, leaving 30 secs, and then buffing off with the other Poorboys Deluxe Mega Towel, again using a spritz of Acrylic Glos to help loosen the residue if needs be. Then simply add a fresh coat of Acrylic Jett Trigger every 6-8 weeks until the time comes to start over by claying again. :thumb:

Looking good mate. Nice reflections, even with the poor light. Had a word with Polished Bliss so will definitely be ordering some soon.

I've always applied my Jeffs by hand and never had a problem.

The only advice i would give is don't leave the basecoat on for the stated 30 mins, leave it for around 5 mins and it'll come off a lot easier.
