Right then - 1stly apologies for this, I suspect I'm opening old wounds.

Wondereing how close a UK car with mods can come to an STi with mods, purely on suspension / handling front.

The aim is for a fast road / occasional track or hill climb car

My car has following:
ARB front and back + solid drop links
Camber bolts
Castor blocks (ALK)
Whiteline fast 'wet' road set up

Thanks to everyone who helped get it there, I love it, but I think the STi suspension has different mounting points and geometry to start with, so is it a much better proposition to start with to modify? Or does the modification route bring them to the same potential?

Cheers

In a classic there won't be a lot in it, the JDM car may benefit from different spring/damper rates but I wouldn't expect most to utilise the differences.
