my story is simple i'm 33, have been driving company cars and lorries for ever so i have never had my own policy, and i had collected 6 points along the way, i brought the car before i shopped about as well tut tut, quotes ranged from 1600 to over 2k anyway gave them all the details and can you belive it, fully comp all the extras mods declared as well

My renewal due soon so contacted my exisiting insurer, had a few mods done, PPP, alloys etc and quote gone throught the roof.
Me thinks that all 'standard' companies must think cos you had a few mods done you must be some sort of motoring lunatic who drives round like your a**e is on fire all day!
Typical narrow minded pen pushers if you ask me :hjtwofing .

I'm up for renewal at the end of this month and the best i have so far is £980 fully comp with More than. Tesco wanted £1200 to go with them! say what!?
I've requested a call back from A-Plan but it never happened so i'll be interested to see what "Gary @ Keith Micheals" can offer.
