My understanding is that in order to have "genuine" Xenon headlights you need to have projector headlights fitted, like the Bugeyes have..
I was wondering if any one knew of projector headlights for the Blobeye?
I have only ever come across the normal bulb style headlights for the Blobeye as opposed to the curved glass dome effect of projectors.
Thanks for any comments and info you can give!

Fitted Hids to my04 Sti blob and they are so much better than standard, left main beam as hardly use anyhow. See Hid groupbuy in Gb thread for more.

Thanks, yeah I've read some of the post you refer to which is what prompted me to ask because it's unclear to me as to how you can have xenons on a car which doesn't have projector headlights (which I thought xenons need).
I would like to have them as they look good.

There are conventional reflector conventional blubbed headlights (majority of cars), conventional reflector HID headlights (aren't most modern BM's like this?), projector type conventional blubbed headlights (UK MY02 STi dip beam), projector type HID headlights (JDM MY02 STi dip beam).
As far as I'm aware there's no relation between the type of reflector and whether it's HID or not.
You can get aftermarket HID conversions which fit normal reflector headlights. For the MY02 WRX (is that blobeye?) the JDM STi headlights are HID and will fit but there's some messing needed with the wiring.

You could go down the retrofit route :D
